DMU students have been inspired after traveling to Berlin where they spoke with Syrian refugees and learnt about new ways to support people fleeing conflict areas.
Click below to hear our interview with Syrian refugee Manar Saqbani, who spoke to DMU’s Head of Public Engagement, Mark Charlton.
The students traveled to Berlin to discover how Leicester can better support refugees in the city, a community that #DMUlocal is already working with through our Refugee Support and After 18 projects.
You can find out more about the trip and what the students got up to here.
