Hate Crime Awareness Training

DMU staff and students can receive free Hate Crime Awareness Training provided by the Leicester LGBT Centre.

Participants will be provided with an introduction to some of the critical issues involved in identifying and supporting people affected by Hate Crime and the impact that Hate Crime has on people’s lives. The course will also consider impact of current legislation and high profile cases. The courses are designed to draw upon participants’ own experiences and organisational procedures.

Each participant will be required to complete session evaluation forms and on conclusion of the session will be provided with a certificate of attendance.
