#DMUlocal’s Coding Clubs are providing schoolchildren in Leicester the opportunity to enhance their learning in a unique and exciting environment.
Run by DMU Square Mile volunteers, the clubs give kids the chance to get to grips with coding – a subject that has recently been added to the National Curriculum – through a number of exciting exercises.
Designed to reengage schoolchildren with learning, Coding Clubs are supporting what kids learn in the classroom and opening their eyes to a number of potential career opportunities.
So far, over 500 schoolchildren across more than a dozen primary schools have got involved with one of #DMUlocal’s Coding Clubs.
